Overview
The Samsung Galaxy W27 launched in China on 29 October 2026 as the luxury W-series version of the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, sold through China Telecom with gold accents across the frame, hinge and camera module. Its 8-inch foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner display and 6.5-inch cover display both run at 120Hz with up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset is paired with 16GB of RAM. Photography comes from a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP ultrawide with autofocus and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, plus dual 10MP selfie cameras on the cover and inner screens. The 5,000mAh battery charges at 45W wired and 20W wireless, and the phone adds Tiantong satellite connectivity for emergency calls and messages over the Fold8 Ultra hardware. Both panels are protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3. On the software side it runs Android 17 with One UI 9, with seven major Android OS updates promised. It is aimed at buyers who want Samsung's flagship foldable with an exclusive, collector-style finish — the box includes a 45W charger and a Kevlar case. No Pakistan price or launch has been announced yet — the China prices start at CNY 18,999 (16/512GB), rising to CNY 21,999 (16/1TB). Colours: Jihu Blue and Jixia Hong (red), both with gold accents.
Gaming review
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy with 16GB of RAM on a huge 8-inch 120Hz foldable display — a top gaming experience, though this is a luxury flagship first and a gaming phone second.
