The Redmi 17 (4G) launched alongside the 5G model in the Philippines on October 23, 2026. It shares almost everything with the 17 5G — a 6.9-inch 120Hz HD+ IPS display (Gorilla Glass 7i, IP64, Wet Touch), 7,500mAh battery with 45W + 22.5W reverse charging, 50MP AI dual rear camera with Dynamic RGB Light, 8MP front camera, stereo speakers, side fingerprint, NFC, 3.5mm jack, microSD expansion and HyperOS 3 on Android 16 — swapping only the chipset for the MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra. Colors: Orange, Deep Blue, Oak Green.
The Helio G91-Ultra is an entry-level chip — fine for casual and light multiplayer games on medium settings, but heavy titles will stutter. As with the 5G sibling, the 7,500mAh battery means all-day gaming without charging. (Editorial estimate, not a measured benchmark.)
Price notes: Not published — Philippines launch (first sale Oct 23, 2026); no Pakistan price announced. Philippines: Php 12,999 (4/128; early-bird Php 11,999 until Oct 31).
