Overview

The Huawei Pura 90 Plus launched in China on 28 October 2026, slotting between the Pura 90 and Pura 90 Pro. Its headline feature is a 50MP main camera built around a 1-inch type sensor with a mechanical variable aperture from f/1.6 to f/4.0, joined by a 48MP macro telephoto with 4x optical zoom and a 40MP ultrawide, all under Huawei's XMAGE imaging system. The 6.8-inch quad-curved LTPO OLED display runs at an adaptive 1–120Hz with second-generation Kunlun Glass, and the new Kirin 9025 chipset — the first phone to use it — is paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM. The curved metal frame sets it apart from the flat-framed Pro models, and the phone is rated IP68/IP69 with two-way BeiDou satellite messaging. On the software side it runs HarmonyOS 7 with the Celia voice assistant. It is aimed at photography-first buyers who want Huawei's largest camera sensor in a more expressive body. No Pakistan price or launch has been announced yet — the China prices start at CNY 5,499 (12/256GB), rising to CNY 6,999 (16/1TB). Colours: Obsidian Black, Snow White, Sunset Purple and Dawn Gold.

Gaming review

The Kirin 9025 with a 120Hz LTPO OLED display handles demanding titles well, but this is a camera-first flagship — there is no dedicated gaming chip or active cooling.
